CHXRL (Charl du Toit) takes his first step into a new era of his musical journey with his new single – “Love Me”. A single that draws from Charl’s narration of a classic tale of unrequited love and the duality that comes with growing more in love with someone by the day, while they simultaneously grow more bored.

“Love Me” deals with the unfortunate heartache of falling in love with someone, but sadly finding the love to be unrequited. With every strum of the guitar, you can feel the excitement for a new relationship building and building, just to be shot down as the lyrics say, like a “little mouse to a bird of prey”, shares CHXRL.

CHXRL (Charl du Toit) is a South-African alt-pop artist and producer hailing from Johannesburg. Having produced for some of the biggest artists in South Africa, such as Die Heuwels Fantasties at merely 19 years old, CHXRL has since released his own EP, “hopeless&romantic” which received extensive radio support across top SA stations, media, and Global Playlists.

CHXRL has been performing across the country and supported Milky Chance on their last South African Tour and is actively working on collaborations with artists both local and abroad on some exciting releases yet to be announced.
