GOODLUCK’S ICONIC SUMMER CONCERT SERIES IS SET TO RETURN TO THE GARDEN ROUTE WITH A LINE UP OF SA’S BIGGEST ARTISTS – PLUS, GET LUCKY SUMMER ANNOUNCE KNYSNA NEW YEAR’S EVE!

Get Lucky Summer recently announced the return of GoodLuck’s annual summer residency and concert series this much-needed holiday season in Cape Town, Plettenberg Bay, Knysna & Hermanus. 

With performances across the season by live-electronic icons, GoodLuck, alongside some of their favourite acts and new discoveries, Mango Groove, Msaki, The Kiffness, Craig Lucas, Will Linley, Prime Circle, Majozi, Veranda Panda and more. 

After 8 years of sold-out events, and annual numbers of 21,000 attendees, the 2022 season returns to the grassy banks of The Beacon Island Hotel, the Plett Rugby Fields, Plettenberg Bay, Knysna, Cape Town and Hermanus. Promising a world-class line-up and a wonderful family friendly environment, the Garden Route’s favourite concert series is set for an epic season of live music events! GoodLuck also announced that the highly anticipated New Year’s Eve event in Plett will now run as a 3-day New Year’s Eve Festival, featuring headliners GoodLuck, Mango Groove, Spoegwolf and the international UK sensation Casey Lowry, along with TikTok sensation Will Linley across the 3 days of the last weekend of 2022!

The New Year’s Eve festival will celebrate the best of South Africa’s musical talent, delicious food trucks & a relaxing environment for a festive, family experience set in the most beautiful location in the country. Whatever plans you have for this NYE, change them, because you need to be at this historic concert. 

“We know how crazy it is to find a spot for lunch or dinner over the season – so we wanted to make a new option that is just walking distance from the beach and has a much more relaxed family vibe, with music from SA’s finest acts. It brings the holiday makers together in a safe outdoor environment that is perfect for quick stop overs on long beach days or just popping down for a relaxed alfresco dinner or lunch! ”, says event organizer, Ben Peters. 

The Get Lucky team have also just announced the addition of a KNYSNA NEW YEAR’S EVE event, which will take place on Thesen Island at The Knysna Experience with headliners GoodLuck, Will Linely and Veranda Panda!
