MacG’s Podcast and Chill celebrates road to 1 million

MacG’s Podcast and Chill celebrates road to 1 million subscribers

After achieving over 900,000 followers on their YouTube channel, Podcast and Chill with MacG celebrate another milestone.

Despite being Mzansi’s most divisive podcasting platform. The Chillers fan base, however, still adheres to the motto “ride or die.”

They could be a divisive podcast in the country, despised by many and loved by others. However, MacG, Sol-Phenduka, and the rest of the Chill with MacG and Podcast crew are here to stay.

When Podcast and Chill with MacG reached over 100 million YouTube views recently, they celebrated another achievement. MacG formally thanked all the chillers for their ongoing support on social media. He then invited them to Sunbet Arena for a celebration of their journey to one million members on April 15, 2023.

The Podcast and Chill with MacG team recently engaged in a competition with another podcast that had previously won the title of Podcast Of The Year at the DStv Content Creator Awards. MacG’s supporters attacked the other podcast because they were convinced that they had been wrongly denied their victory.

The first podcast channel to ever have a screening on the big screen was Podcast and Chill with MacG, which only happened last month. Black Coffee, Podcast, and Chill did not post the much-anticipated interview with Grammy Award-winning DJ to their YouTube channel.

Instead, it seemed that after joining forces with Ster Kinekor, MacG had his sights set on the prize and was prepared to cash in. Despite being hailed as the most divisive and sexist podcast ever, this alone was a major triumph for the Podcast and Chill team.

IS MACG CONSIDERING RESCHEDULING THE SUNBET ARENA EVENT?

In light of the podcast’s recent announcement that it will organise an event in April, MacG is reconsidering the entire plan until a later date.

After disappointing ticket sales, MacG gave the delay some thought. Later, he added that the error will be fixed and that it could have been caused by the webpage link.

The second podcast event in history would be this one. Joe Rogan performed at Madison Square Arena first.

The event will feature a live recording of the podcast, as well as performances by some of South Africa’s best performers. Chillers will get to interact with MacG and his team.

The YouTube-based channel, Podcast and Chill, demonstrated why it is the most popular podcast in Africa. This is because it continued to make history by becoming the only podcast to have two of its interviews receive a theatrical debut.
