With five different stages, some of the most loved genres, attendees were spoilt for choice.
Ricardo Da Costa, who is at the helm of putting this lifestyle event together, said that this year things were taken up a notch and they were localising the affair.
“So we like to refer to Spring Fiesta dance culture national holiday. So it’s a music and lifestyle festival that has five different stages; we’ve had up to sevena stages before. And it really celebrates music and features all the relevant DJs and artists, both local and international.” said Ricardo
“This year we have chosen to keep it local because we believe that we are producing the best music in the world, and everyone wants a piece of us. So why would we bring in an international (artists) when everyone wants a piece of us?”
Indie record label Stay True Sounds was also confirmed to be hosting one of the main stages at the event featuring their freshest talents.
Label owner Allan Nicoll, fondly known as Kid Fonque, spoke said: “Our agenda at the label is simple: unearth, nurture and present real evocative music which is in perfect alignment with the Spring Fiesta mantra of building the South African music industry. We are super excited about this partnership and more so for their 10th anniversary this year.” said Nicoll
