LAST YEAR, MORE THAN 15,000 PET LOVERS CAME TOGETHER FOR THE PURRR-FECT WEEKEND WITH OVER 400 DOGS, 100 CATS & MORE AT PETEXPO

PetExpo is the not-to-be-missed pet event of the year. The paw-fect event for the whole family returns to delight animal lovers this July AND they’ve added an extra day of tail wagging fun! With almost 26 years of history this exciting event is finally back at Montecasino on new dates 14 -16 July 2023.

In 2022 this iconic event underwent a rebrand, previously known as WODAC or World of Dogs and Cats, and treated over 15 000 attendees to a fresh and exciting two day line-up of non-stop entertainment at Montecasino, despite COVID obstacles.

“We were delighted to see the members of the public return to a much-anticipated highlight on the pet-lovers event calendar last year, and this year will be an even more illustrious event! Join us for 3 days of pet love, fun and celebration‘’ says PetExpo Director, Louis Kruger.

The 2023 edition returns to this spectacular venue and gives you the perfect opportunity to spoil your furry family and your regular family with a huge selection of pet stands, KUSA-Affiliated Dog Shows, Cat Shows and edutainment.

No need to choose teams – enjoy three days of fantastic feline fun and hundreds of hounds, over 400 to be precise! If dogs are your passion, you can enjoy watching purebred dogs strut their stuff at three All-Breeds KUSA Championship Shows: chat to dedicated preservation breeders committed to the future of their respective breeds, and engage with experts ready to answer questions pertaining to health, nutrition, training, behavioural issues and more.

Agility dogs in action in the big ring will leave you marvelling at their stamina and speed, while dancing dogs will definitely put a smile on your face. Treat your loved fur baby at home and shop up a storm. Cat lovers will enjoy three cat shows over the weekend, with more than one hundred cats presenting their amazing feline breeds. Of course your cat at home will expect some treats when you return, but don’t worry we’ve got you covered with the best feline goodies in town.

If your affection is more towards the cold blooded persuasion enjoy various reptile displays and slithery stands. As always PetExpo covers all bases with beautiful birds, parrots, spiders of all sizes, some fish including Koi and even horse gymnastics! Tickets: Tickets will cost R150 per adult for a general day ticket, R100 per child under 16, kids under 5 are free and family of 4 tickets are only R400. Pensioners are R100 each. NEW: full weekend tickets will be available at R250 per adult regardless of age, but they’re limited to 2,000.
